Long Time no See

Well, it has been nigh a week, and mainly I am posting to post. I don't have any good pics really to put up.

It was a fairly standard weekend. Nothing crazy went down. Had Bowling saturday night, which I must say, I did better than normal at. Sunday was church and lunch with the Family.

The @#$*&#$ Update: Removed!

Got my passport...I'd post that picture, but it is just to scary (and I think it's illegal to copy). Well, that's all for Two-fer Tuesday.

From Philly to Beijing

Well, I have been delinquent in editing my posts as of late. Last weekend I was in Philadelphia. Dude, there is a ton of stuff there. First off, this is where America all started. The Liberty Bell is kept under lock and key here. I wouldn't say this is the best pic ever, but I think the cell phone did some justice this time. Notice the famous crack there in Path and Stowe. I got a few pictures of where they first continental congesses took place. It sure looks a lot different than where our current politicians practice their partisan politics. Those chairs, since I know you were all wondering, are not the originals. In fact, it is not becuase they are too delicate to display, or because we dont' know what they looked like, but because they don't actually exist at all. It turns out, that when the Revolutionary War started, the British decided they would set up camp in Downtown Philly during the winter. Well, they occupied this building, and when they ran out of firewood, they resorted to burning the original chairs. I also noticed, they didn't use many ball point pens back then. I think one of the best meals I have ever had was at the City Tavern. They serve authentic colonial meals. I had the braised rabbit. Just to keep the ambiance, the discourage the use of cell phones and the like.

After a day in the Old City, we had a wedding on Saturday. It was quite luxurious. I didn't get many (any pictures actually) but I do have one "keep sake". These are some of the orchids that were in the centerpieces. I rather like the vase we are using now, too. Even the live band was kickin' at the wedding.

Now, for the week. Well, Steelers won the Super Bowl. Pittsburgh has basically been a sea of Black and Gold for the last two weeks. It was a fun game to watch. If you didn't see the game, I have to assume you were working, or dead.

...well, I am going to China and Taiwan. Nothing like a business trip for work . Wish me luck folks...and let's hope the passport get's here in time.

The Big Game

Well, the week has been interesting. Mr. Aldeghi is back...but I won't be at work tomorrow, so I won't have to deal with him until monday.

Going out to Philly for a good friends wedding. Should be fun. Maybe I can post some picks I get from Philly, we shall see.

Most importantly though, the Steelers are in the Super Bowl (XL)on Sunday. The "Bus" is going back to Detroit. The terrible towle is ready to go.
